Last week I spent about 50 hours prepping designs and setting up my new shop True To My Wyrd, which explains the deathly silence here. But let me tell you, I hadn’t had so much fun in fucking ages. I actually felt guilty because I was enjoying myself so bloody much, eventhough the majority of the work was done with one hand, while I held baby Saga in the other.
That’s a common thing that plagues creative entrepreneurs – feeling guilty for having too much of a good time. It’s such a shitty thing really, and I’ve made a promise to myself that I’m done with feeling bad for feeling good.
Anyway, the shop! True To My Wyrd is a store selling art and everyday essentials decorated with wyrd designs.
The designs I’ve created so far are inspired by favourite movies – The VVitch and The Blair Witch Project – by introversion and mental health. I’ll be re-exploring these themes with future work and going wherever my obscure interests and curiosity takes me. It’s my hope you’ll like what you see here and want to see the rest.
