I Went Smoke Grey For A While

For my 31st birthday (which came around back in September) I thought about buying myself a blender. But instead of being a responsible adult, I purchased a couple of wigs from Amazon store Flouriding.

Basically, I really wanted to know how I would look with grey hair….I’ve also been wanting to progress with my self-portraiture, which I feel has been so fucking stale recently.

I don’t recall seeing that the company were based in CHINA, but that considered, my wigs arrived relatively swiftly, and in immaculate condition.

The wig I’m talking about today is the 31″ Smoke Grey Curly Wig. At £7.79 friends, it it one of the best bargains I’ve ever pounced on.

It’s staggeringly thick for such a cheap product, yet light, and the hair itself  – high temperature silk – is of remarkable quality. The colour, style and length make me want to cry because I don’t have my wig as real hair. It’s so rare I buy myself something, and to have it come and be what I wanted and more is just the best thing.

As well as being expertly packed, the wig came equipped with a separately packaged wig cap. It took a little practice to put it on (I ended up watching a brilliant YouTube video of what to do with my hair underneath because there’s lots of it) but once it was on, and I’d sorted out the fringe, it wasn’t going anywhere…but to the forest when I took it on a little outing. Will be buying from this seller again, guaranteed.
