So I have a new music project starting up. It’s called Blóðnætur which means ‘blood nights’ in Icelandic. It’s made up of myself (in case you didn’t know, my other music foray is Witch Folk band Cave Mouth) and musican/composer JD Frew of horror synth project Bogwitch. We’re two weird folk creating weird music in weird times for other weird folk.

Our first offering is a homage to the ORIGINAL Pet Sematary film, the one released in 1989. This will be the first of a series of tracks we’ll put out inspired by our favourite horror films, and, in this instance, a favourite book, too.
This song is a real labour of love and has come together against the odds, for JD and I have never even met! He’s based in Colorado in the US and I’m in North Yorkshire in the Land of the Damned. Anyway, we hope you’re unsettled in all the right ways by it. If you feel so inclined, please share Pet Sematary with anyone who you think might appreciate it. I’m not active on social media and don’t intend on being active there again, so any shares are valued very much.
