  1. So wonderful. Iā€™m actually currently reading about the Jule goat and Nisse as we spent Christmas in the very north of Norway. They have beautiful folklore here

  2. The day before yesterday, I think it was, I wrote two lines about animals talking at midnight on Christmas day. Then I saw your illustration. I wasn’t actually writing about the legend as the main theme or subject but briefly alluding to it. Your illustration alone tells the story so effectively. This image, like the other, has atmosphere and character (and there is a character). It is both moving and, if I may say, haunting.

    1. I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season and I want to thank you for the amazing support you have shown with the work I’ve been sharing. It really means such a lot to me. šŸ™‚ I’m so grateful for your thoughtful words.

      1. I enjoy your work and your perspective. With folklore, legends, and in offering other ways to view and celebrate special times. And in finding those special times (and folklore and legends) in the first place.
