You may have noticed that it’s been a bit quiet around here recently…but for good reason. 2017 has already been a year of monumental change for me, and as the weeks have gone by, it’s become ever more evident my blogs need some revitalization so they can move forward with me into this new era of my life.
Wyrd Words & Effigies has now been playing a role in darkening the web since 2013 and to be honest with you, it’s really hard to imagine my life without it.
But I’ve been burning with ideas for a new project, a blog that will document my journey as I reacquaint with the craft of the witch.
Witchcraft has forever been woven into my life, but I’ve lost touch with many aspects over the years. After the latest demolition of my psyche, I realised that in order to gather the strength to start again, I need to reconnect with the craft, and pick up from the journey that I started so many years ago.
What does this mean for Wyrd Words & Effigies? Well, I don’t want to say that it will be the end because I still have so many things I want to do here, but for now, while I begin the work on myself, it will be mostly silent. When I do come back however, and I will let you know when that time is coming, you can expect a complete overhaul.
If you have some thoughts you’d like to share about what you might like to see here in the future, don’t hesitate to write a line or too.
