What Would You Like To See

My creativity is making her way back to me, and I’ve never felt so fucking relieved. I want to start posting regularly again – and I’m going to make a point of writing frequently about mental health – but I’d love to know what you would like to see on Wyrd Words & Effigies.

Do you enjoy the randomness of my content? Should interviews be a more regular feature? Would you like to read more or less about my life? Should I post more dark art? Music? Fashion? DIY? Book reviews? What, in your opinion, could I do to make Wyrd Words & Effigies a better experience?

  1. I just wanted to say how glad I am to see you posting again and to hear that your creativity is making a comeback. As to what I’d like to see more of on the blog – well, I love the themes of folklore and nature that run through so much of what you post, and I particularly enjoy the art, book reviews, and seeing your DIY work. But really I enjoy the whole mix that you post on here, so I would just say please post whatever interests you, and I look forward to seeing it. šŸ™‚

  2. Randomness is good, because yours is appealing. I appreciate your descriptions and reviews of myth and folklore. Interviews are grand for the learning of others’ stories. Maybe folklore and interviewing could be combined.

  3. I can’t tell you how happy I am to read this post today, Katie! I’ve been reading your work for a few years now, and have thought of you often as many of your struggles with depression have parallelled my own in the same timeline. In any case, I’ve always loved everything you post, music and fashion being highlights, but I love all of it so I hope you will post whatever you feel most inspired by and excited about.

    1. Hi Kiva! I’m so glad you got in touch and thank you for sharing your experience and what you appreciate about WW&E. Your thoughts mean a great deal to me. Looking forward to talking more! šŸ™‚ x
