Of all the titles of all the books I’ve read this year (nearing 60 now) I think We Don’t Go Back is my favourite. And the cover…THE COVER YOU GUYS! Normally I’m not one for overly colourful cover art, but this has all the right feels.
I’m racing to finish The Familiars by Stacey Halls (someone else at the library has reserved it, dammit) but I’m going to sacrifice a few nights of sleep so I can get this read and we can have a good old time discussing it. I’m so excited!

‘Travelling from Watership Down to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, with every stop inbetween, We Don’t Go Back is a thoughtful, funny and essential overview of folk horror in TV and cinema.’ – Amazon
P.S. If you have Kindle Unlimited you can read it for free!
