I came across Carrie Violet of Memorial Stitches when her page was suggested to me after I had followed another account. The recommended pages is one of the features of Instagram that I absolutely love. Carrie is based in the ‘old north of England’ and creates grim and gorgeous hand crafted decorations, inspired by the likes of Edvard Munch and Edward Gorey. The presentation of her creations is nothing short of perfect, and it’s hard to move away from her page once you’re there. Carrie also offers little, beautiful and rare insights into her divine, creative world. If you are looking to treat yourself, I strongly suggest you visit her shop.
