Photographer Sarah Sudhoff has, with her latest series of photographs, captured body fluid stains created by the passing of human life. The stained fabrics which she has photographed include bedding, carpet and upholstery. The causes of death and ages of the deceased vary substantially, and include a 60 year old woman who died form a heart attack, a 40 year old man who shot himself and a 25 year old man who died from a seizure. The fabrics are removed from the trauma scene and brought to a warehouse, where Sudhoff photographs them before they are cast into a fire and incinerated.
