I don't even know where to begin with the song I Väntan På Den Absoluta Nollpunkten from Swedish black metal project Istapp...the vocals make me weak at the knees. It's a fucking masterpiece.

I've lost count of how many times I've named Finnish black metal project Kalmankantaja as my sound of the day...but this band releases masterpiece after masterpiece after masterpiece. I simply cannot get enough. Currently enjoying Musta Lampi, one of the four full-length albums that they released in 2014.

Canadian black metal project Harrow have been haunting me today with the track Pathways taken from their 2015 release Fallow Fields. It's been a long time since I've featured black metal from Canada, so it feels good to be posting music from a band creating far away and across the Atlantic.
