I was introduced to the sounds of Italian black metal band Krowos yesterday evening by a friend, and between then and now have become completely obsessed with their track Simulacrum's Damnation taken from their 2012 split Ex Profunditate Animae with fellow Italian bm project Anar.
I discovered Finnish black metal band Nekrokrist SS through their split with fellow Finns the mighty Förgjord, and have been enjoying their brutal, blackened blasts for the past few hours. Path of Depression is taken from their 2011 split with Nattfog.
Too much mellow stuff today. It's made me feel lethargic. This evening requires something rough, intense and ferocious as fuck. Mourning Forest from France fit the bill perfectly. The track that's about to wake you the hell up this Monday night is The Cave, taken from their 2009 full-length Au Coeur De L' Ombre.
