So, I’m feeling very strongly that I need to have a pair of felted boots in my life. Feltmaker Jurga lives with her family in the wilderness of Lithuania, and has been working with felt since 2008.
Felted from natural wool, Jurga uses just soap and warm water during the felting process. Though they may not look like it, these boots are perfect for wearing outdoors, especially in cold weather, as felt provides excellent protection from freezing conditions. Even at minus 20 C degrees you’ll still be able to feel your toes.
