If you need more encouragement, well, there’s a segment with Anne Rice, the queen of the vampire novel. I don’t know about you, but when I was growing up, Interview With The Vampire was a pivotal stepping stone in my creative and personal development.
Talking about vampires, I’m heading an hour up the road tomorrow to spend the day in Whitby. In case you don’t immediately recall, this is the place where Bram Stoker found his inspiration for Dracula. For those of you who just sat up a little straighter on the mention of the words ‘Whitby’ and ‘Bram’, Whitby Goth Weekend is coming up. It starts on April 23rd and finishes on April 26th. I’ll be heading there…primarily to root through the second hand market stalls.
