Elves Caught Me In The Wind is the title of the 2013 album from Ents, an atmospheric black metal project from the Russian Federation. I don’t know much about this band…except for the fact that the music they create deserves your time and undivided attention.

My name is Katie Metcalfe and I’m an English author, blogger, poet and songwriter. I have a northern fever and tend to be a bit too wyrd for most people.

Listening to Timewheel now….I like this – ““TIMEWHEEL” album was recorded and mixed at home in Krasnoyarsk in the fall-winter 2019 during the period of leaf fall, rains, first snows and frosts.” I love this connection with nature found in Russian music. It’s also strong in Ukraine and Poland.
I’m so glad that you do. I think it’s phenomenal. 🙂
Hey, I know this is a post from a few years back but I really like the one song by Ents I heard, “Slumbering Woods”. Can’t find anything else by them! Saw from your other post that you’re quite depressed so not sure if you’re currently listening to much.

Hi there. Now that you’ve reminded me about Ents, I’m listening to Slumbering Woods right now. I’ve just checked on Metal Archives to see if they’ve done anything recently, but they don’t have a page on there. I am in a horrible headspace at the moment, so I’m not listening to much aside from ‘3 Hours of Gentle Rain’ on repeat on YouTube.
Yes, it’s like they just disappeared. Not on Bandcamp either. But I hear you, when I was depressed I totally lost interest in music…came back eventually.
Brad (not sure why I came up as anonymous on original post).
It’s bizarre and a bit frustrating…I want more from them! Have you heard the project Gloosh? I can highly recommend their release Timewheel. It’s extremely, EXTREMELY annoying not being able to listen to and enjoy music like I used to. I have been able to appreciate a few albums recently though, Forndom’s new one and Gaahl’s Wyrd’s Ghosts Invited.
