365 Days Of Dark Art : 16 / Andreas Lie

Norwegian artist Andreas Lie is one of my favourite discoveries in recent years. His specialism is creating double exposure portraits with wild animals and his native northern landscapes. For this project, he has combined Norway's beautiful fauna with the breathtaking aurora borealis.

Connecting with a piece of art is one of the finest pleasures in life. Connecting with a collection of art is an almost overwhelmingly glorious experience. Elise Mahan has rubbed stars, ice, forests and handfuls of northern light into the four chambers of this heart of mine.
