I don't even know where to begin with the song I Väntan På Den Absoluta Nollpunkten from Swedish black metal project Istapp...the vocals make me weak at the knees. It's a fucking masterpiece.
I've lost count of how many times I've named Finnish black metal project Kalmankantaja as my sound of the day...but this band releases masterpiece after masterpiece after masterpiece. I simply cannot get enough. Currently enjoying Musta Lampi, one of the four full-length albums that they released in 2014.
Since being introduced to Canadian black metal project Spectral Wound recently, I've been relishing their powerful, raw yet utterly mesmerizing sound. Winter Light from the 2015 debut full-length Terra Nullius has ownership of my ears today.
I spent much of the weekend (happily) drowning in the sound of Swedish black metal band Mortuus. I had other music to listen to...but, I didn't want to move away.
