English fashion photographer Tim Walker creates ambitious, fantastically theatrical images that are so rich with texture, versatility and god damn weirdness that you can’t leave them alone for long. I greatly admire his determination to create such all consuming art. I also admire his drive to create…I think an intense enthusiasm to create a vision you have seen in your head makes you ignore some obstacles as well as the way that he approaches his work by not being motivated by the wheel of fashion and commerce.
