Mermaid Washed Up

I don’t know what it is about mermaids that I find so bloody appealing, but I do know it’s always been a desire of mine to try on a prop tail and flounder around on the North Sea coast. These images came to my attention this afternoon, and it can’t be denied that they look pretty damn convincing. Sadly, this beauty was simply a prop – used in the atrocious Pirates of the Caribbean movies – and not a luscious sea goddess, slipping silently through the waves.
